We are in the midst of a major business epidemic – only 29% of employees are engaged which costs businesses an estimated $300B in the US (according to Gallup). Gamification is a technique to take the drudgery out of work and re-engage the hall zombies we call employees. Engagification of the enterprise rethinks how we design work to harnesses employees’ intrinsic motivation and desire to contribute to the larger corporate goals as a way to combat this inertia.
